Martha has an undergraduate degree in health sciences, a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from New England Institute of Technology, and is a certified lymphedema therapist from Norton School of Lymphatics.

Martha also has a love for learning and has taken numerous other courses including; inflammation, diet, lifestyle. 

With 12 years of experience as an occupational therapy practitioner across various medical settings, Martha brings a wealth of expertise to the field. A certified lymphedema therapist, Martha holds a particular fascination for the intricate interplay between the lymphatic system and our immune functions. Martha spent most of her career working with a wide variety of adult patients with a focus on neurological disorders (strokes, brain injuries, parkinsons) 

Raised in an unconventional manner, Martha had parents who instilled holistic values, eschewing modern medical practices. Growing up involved tending to personal vegetable gardens, rearing goats, chickens, and an array of other animals. However, upon reaching adulthood, chose to embark on the path of traditional medicine and embrace the American diet, becoming distant from her holistic roots.
