Our Mission.
At Wild Indigo, our mission is to provide care that looks at the whole person, not just a diagnosis or a symptom.
We want our clients to feel heard, supported, and confident in understanding what is happening in their bodies. Through occupational therapy, oncology rehabilitation, lymphatic care, movement, and education, we help people navigate recovery, improve function, and get back to the things that matter to them.
Whether someone is recovering from cancer treatment or surgery, living with lymphedema or lipedema, or simply trying to feel stronger and more comfortable in their body, we believe they deserve individualized care and the time to be truly listened to.
Our goal is simple: meet people where they are, help them understand their bodies, and give them the tools and support to move forward.
How We Can Help:
Specialized, individualized care to support you through treatment, recovery, and beyond.
-
Occupational therapy at Wild Indigo is focused on helping you regain strength, mobility, function, and confidence when illness, injury, surgery, or ongoing health challenges have changed the way you move or live your everyday life.
Treatment may address weakness, decreased range of motion, pain, balance, endurance, difficulty completing daily activities, or changes in function. Your care is built around what matters to you—whether that's getting back to work, exercising, caring for your family, returning to the activities you love, or simply feeling more capable and independent in your everyday life.
-
Oncology rehabilitation can begin before cancer treatment starts and continue throughout treatment, recovery, and survivorship. Cancer and its treatments can affect strength, mobility, function, tissue health, and the lymphatic system—sometimes during treatment and sometimes months or years later.
Wild Indigo provides individualized rehabilitation for people affected by a variety of cancers, including breast, head & neck, gynecologic, colorectal, genitourinary, melanoma, and other cancers where surgery, lymph node procedures, radiation, or treatment may impact function or lymphatic health.
Whenever possible, we recommend a prehabilitation evaluation before surgery, radiation, or other cancer treatment. This allows us to establish an individual baseline—including range of motion, strength, mobility, function, and appropriate lymphatic or limb measurements—while providing education and preparing you for recovery.
Throughout treatment and recovery, rehabilitation may address decreased range of motion, weakness, pain, scar and tissue restrictions, radiation-related fibrosis, cancer-related fatigue, neuropathy, swelling, lymphedema risk, and difficulty returning to everyday activities.
Specialized concerns may include axillary web syndrome (cording) following breast cancer treatment; head, face, and neck lymphedema following head & neck cancer treatment; and lower-extremity, pelvic, or genital swelling associated with cancers and treatments involving the pelvic or inguinal lymphatic system.
When medically appropriate, rehabilitation and lymphedema care may begin during active cancer treatment in coordination with your oncology team.
Our goal is to help you enter treatment as prepared as possible, recognize changes early, and maintain or regain strength, mobility, and function throughout every stage of your cancer journey.

You don't need to have lymphedema to benefit from learning how to support your lymphatic health.
At Wild Indigo, we take a whole-person approach to health promotion, helping you better understand the connection between movement, circulation, the lymphatic system, stress, recovery, and everyday well-being.
For individuals living with chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia, autoimmune conditions, chronic pain, fatigue, or ongoing inflammation, care is individualized around how you're feeling and what your body needs. Sessions may incorporate gentle movement and exercise, breathing techniques, manual lymphatic drainage, nervous-system calming strategies, education, and practical tools you can continue using at home.
We also believe health promotion is about being proactive—not waiting until something is wrong to begin caring for your body. Through education, movement, healthy routines, and programs such as Lymph Flow, we help you build habits that support your health and keep you doing the things you love.
Our goal is to help you understand your body, take an active role in your health, and give you practical tools to feel your best and live life to the fullest.

Recovery doesn't end when you leave the operating room. Swelling, bruising, scar tissue, tightness, weakness, pain, and changes in mobility can all affect how you feel and function in the weeks and months following surgery.
At Wild Indigo, post-surgical care is individualized to your procedure, stage of healing, and personal goals. Treatment may include manual lymphatic drainage, swelling and edema management, scar and tissue mobilization, therapeutic exercise, range-of-motion and strengthening exercises, compression education, and strategies to help you safely return to everyday activities.
We support recovery following a wide range of procedures, including breast and reconstructive surgery, orthopedic surgery, abdominal and pelvic procedures, and cosmetic or plastic surgery such as liposuction, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), breast procedures, and facial surgery.
For cosmetic and plastic surgery recovery, care may focus on managing post-operative swelling, supporting healthy tissue mobility, addressing scar restrictions when appropriate, navigating compression, and helping you understand what to expect throughout the healing process. Treatment is adapted to your stage of recovery and your surgeon's recommendations.
We also focus on what you can do between visits, giving you practical tools, movement strategies, and education to support your recovery at home.
Our goal is to help you move beyond simply healing from surgery, to restore movement and function, regain confidence, and get back to living your life.
-
Living with lymphedema or lipedema can affect much more than swelling. Heaviness, pain, tenderness, tissue changes, changes in mobility, difficulty finding the right compression, and simply not knowing what to do next can all impact everyday life.
At Wild Indigo, we provide individualized evaluation, treatment, education, and long-term management for lymphedema and lipedema. Depending on your needs, treatment may include Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT), manual lymphatic drainage, compression bandaging, therapeutic exercise and movement, skin care, measurements, and self-management education.
We also help take some of the guesswork out of managing your condition at home. This may include helping you navigate compression garments and appropriate levels of compression, daytime and nighttime options, reduction garments, and home pneumatic compression pumps when appropriate. We can assist with recommendations and coordinate with your medical providers and equipment companies when additional tools are needed.
Most importantly, we want you to leave understanding your condition and feeling confident about what you can do for yourself at home.
Our goal is to give you the treatment, education, and tools you need to manage your condition, stay active, and live your life as fully as possible.

Cancer recovery and survivorship care focuses on what comes next. We help address the lasting effects of cancer treatment while rebuilding strength, mobility, endurance, and confidence so you can return to the activities and life that matter to you.
From ongoing lymphatic concerns and tissue changes to weakness, fatigue, neuropathy, pain, or simply not feeling like yourself yet, you don't have to navigate life after treatment alone.
You fought hard to get here. We're here to help you rebuild, move forward, and live life to the fullest.
